The movie is set in Japan and tells the story of Furu, a young aspiring musician, who is dreaming of a getaway out of his small coastal town in Northern Iwate. He succeeds but the price is very high.

A woman and her husband Jackson welcome their baby boy the same day the King of Pop Michael Jackson died. A dance enthusiast, she names her son Michael, making his full name Michael Jackson. Michael goes on to become a great dancer, winning a reality show title. Owing to this, he becomes very famous in his college as well. However, one day, he mysteriously goes missing from college, leading to a string of unexpected events.

In order to really see justice done, Mai (Sombat Metanee) leave his work as a lawman, and funds his activities with some thievery of his own. Many elephants serve as co-stars in the action, as he achieves supremacy in crime but cannot escape his status as a wanted man. Eventually, pursued by criminals and the police alike, he takes his wife and children to Cambodia.

After discovering that her husband is involved with drug trafficking, and she decides to cooperate with the DEA, Lidia is forced to move to Spain with her teenage daughter, fleeing her tragic past to start a new life. Two years later, in Spain, Lidia's life enters chaos once more when someone is sent to kill her and her daughter is kidnapped.

記憶についての映画である。しかし人間が持つ記憶ではない。場所に宿る記憶、堆積した時間とも言える。ありふれたテーマだが、本来目に見えないこれらの観念をイメージとして表現する事を試みた。映画を撮ること自体が、失われていく時間を捕らえる行為でもあると思ったからだ。一人の女の生活をモチーフにした。堆積した日常は部屋にあり続ける。
